Apple Store Challenge: London Regent Street

Regent Street Apple Store

I remember queuing for hours on the opening day of this store back in 2004 – it was the first one to open in Europe. It was an awesome day and I even got a free t-shirt as I was one of the first 200 people through the doors. What I love about this store (even now) is how friendly and helpful everyone is, they always greet you with a smile, and are on hand to give you any advice you might need.

They’ve also recently remodeled the upper floor, with a bigger display area for iMacs and laptops, as well as a new lecture/stage/workshop/screening area where they hold talks and meet and greets, as well as the occasional live music night. I recently went to a Q&A given by the director of the film Killing Bono, which was a great experience.

I think all in all, this is my favourite store, probably because it’s the first one I ever went to, and the one where I’ve always gone with any issues or problems with my Mac products. I have a strong attachment to it. Is it really sad to say it’s like a second home?!
