It really doesn’t seem like very long ago that I was spending a glorious long weekend at a very wintry Camp Sloane, but that was over 3 months ago now…how time flies!
And now it’s just 6 days until I head back there, this time for almost 4 months! This is going to be my 5th summer working at camp in my favourite place in the world and I can’t wait! I’ve been on countdown for the last 10 weeks or so, pretty much just waiting for this moment when I can say ‘I’m going to camp next week‘, and now it’s really here! And now I have to try and pack all my stuff into the (very) small bag I’ve decided I’m taking this time.
It’s going to be another summer full of fun, laughs, friends, and sunshine, and then when I leave camp in September I’ve got some mega exciting stuff planned. I can now finally say that I’m going to be working with a couple of great travel companies as I make my way around America and then go south into Central (and maybe South) America! It’s heaps exciting and I can’t wait to share with you everything I get up to… I’ll be visiting a few places I’ve already been so it’ll be great to experience them again, and then there’s going to be a whole heap of new places that will be an absolute first for me!
I’ll be announcing more details about what I’m going to be getting up to and who I’m going to be working with over the next few months, so keep an eye out for that. But rest assured that it’s going to be AWESOME, and of course I’ll be blogging about everything I get up to (and instagramming too!).
