I don’t really have many huge updates for this week, other than that life is continuing as normal at camp. Always busy, always hectic. So many photos, so many projects but, as always, so much fun. A few weeks ago I implemented something new at camp, which is always cool – we created this chalkboard that the kids can write on with their responses to the statement ‘I love Camp Sloane because…‘, and it’s been pretty awesome to see them all getting super into it and writing some amazing and beautiful things, my favourite being ‘because it feels like a home‘. And that’s exactly how I feel about this place. It feels like a home.
Aside from campy things, you’re probably wondering when I’m going to head back out into the world and explore some new places. Well, don’t fear, there’s some heaps exciting stuff coming up that’s all being planned at the moment and I’m just going to say that I’m VERY excited. There’s been a few changes to some of my original plans due to various random circumstances but it’s all starting to come together now and I can’t wait to share it all with you once it’s finalised.
