This month I’ve pretty much just been at camp, loving life and enjoying everything that comes with being in my favourite place in the world. There’s been some epic days off, a new tattoo, a trip to Coney Island to see Mumford & Sons, the arrival of staff, plenty of training, new friends and lots of laughs.

Oops. That’s a whole lot more than I should be spending, especially seeing as I don’t really have to pay for anything while I’m here – working at summer camp comes with free food and accommodation. But I just can’t seem to help myself sometimes!

Biggest Expense/Unforeseen Splurges: There’s been a quite a few big expenses this month, starting with the trip to NYC for the Mumford concert (train, food, drinks etc…it all added up quite quickly!), then there was the new tattoo (a bow on my left arm to go with the arrow on my right) and then I ended up spending a whole heap of money in the staff auction the other day. Oh well. I have to keep reminding myself that it’s less when it’s converted to pounds! Right? Or at least what I keep telling myself.
