In the summer I went to the Greek island of Samos, and stayed in the beautiful town of Pythagorio, right on the waterfront. By day this place is quiet and relaxed, but by night it comes alive, with endless bars along the harbour all packed to the brim with locals and holiday makers.
Now that my lovely, beautiful, sunny holiday in Mauritius is over and my friends have all gone home after our New Year’s celebrations in London, it is back to the grind of work work work, dissertation, dissertation, dissertation. For Christmas I went to Mauritius with my (very extended) family…that is, my dad, my elder sister, my two younger half-sisters, my ex-stepmum, her new boyfriend, and their two-year-old (whom I consider my sister). See, I told you it was complicated.
