Midway through my trip around America, I made it to one of my favourite places in the world (that I’ve seen so far) – Los Angeles. More specifically, the stretch of beach that runs between Venice and Santa Monica Piers, starting with Venice boardwalk, full of shops and stalls and people from all walks of life, and finishing at the fairground at the end of the pier in Santa Monica. With the sun shining, and smiles on everyone’s faces, it’s a great place to just hang out and soak up your surroundings.
