Hotel Review: The Ruby Hotel, Nha Trang

Situated just two blocks from the beach and right in the centre of all the main shops, bars and restaurants, the Ruby Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Nha Trang. The staff are friendly, there’s a lift (excellent news if you’re on one of the upper floors and the thought of carrying your heavy backpack up the stairs makes you want to cry), free WiFi (that actually works!), and the rooms are clean.

We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was absolutely fine, and fairly cheap too…for just $15 we got a room with two double beds, an ensuite bathroom/wet-room, tv, fridge and wardrobe. Perfect for just a few nights stay, although it was a little cramped, especially when we were all trying to get stuff out of our bags at the same time.

The only negatives for this hotel are firstly the pretty hard and uncomfortable beds and secondly it is right next to a military base, which means its petty loud in the morning. But apart from that, I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nha Trang.
