Photo Of The Week: When All My Dreams Came True

Way back in 1997, when I was just a mere 9 years old, a young man released an album. That album was called ‘Life Thru A Lens’ and that man was the one and only Robbie Williams. Ever since I first heard this amazing human being singing the best song in the world (‘Angels’, if you haven’t already guessed), I was absolutely hooked, and I’ve been in love with him ever since. As his music has grown and changed, so have I, but one thing never faltered over all these years…my unwavering faith in Robbie. Finally, after 15 years of waiting, my dreams came true and I actually got to see him perform live in concert at the O2, on the first night of his three (and only) big arena solo performances since 2006. And it was incredible. I can’t even describe it. The set, the stage, the lights, the band, the songs, the man. It was everything I ever imagined it would be and more. So, while this doesn’t really have much to do with travelling (if at all), I wanted to say this…thank you to Mr Robbie Williams for reminding me that sometimes it’s good to be home.
P.S. I will always love you, however many Rudebox’s you release.
