The Best Summer Ever

And so here we are. It’s the very last day of summer camp at Camp Sloane YMCA, where I’ve been working for the last 12 weeks. The kids are gone, the sun is shining, the non camp appropriate music is blaring, and we are getting our clean on. Everyone is working hard, making sure we leave camp looking spick and span for the coming winter months. Myself and 11 others are staying on for the next 3 weeks to work Fall Camp, during which we get a few groups and have an awesome Family Camp over Labor Day Weekend before we take everything down and really close up for the rest of the year. It’s been a fantastic summer, full of fun and friends and laughs and I’m going to be pretty sad to see a lot of these people leave tomorrow morning, but fingers crossed we’ll all see each other again in the not so distant future.

So for now, I’ll leave you with a ‘goodbye to the summer’ video from all of us at camp.
