I haven’t posted a photo of the week for a while so this one dates back to last Saturday when we went out to Opera Bar in Sydney (yes, P.S. I have finally arrived in Oz, more on that coming soon) with a few friends for some laughs and sunset drinks. It’s been a pretty hectic time since we arrived here, all go go go, and I’ve loved every minute of it. We’ve been working at a Day Camp up in North Sydney for the last two weeks, hanging out with the kids, teaching and participating in various activities such as Drama, Cooking, Zumba, Circus and many more. It was awesome to be able to have that job to jump straight into as soon as week arrived, and it was something we all felt so comfortable doing (having just spent 4 months stateside doing the exact same thing), we just slotted right in. We made some great friends at Camp Blue and I can’t wait until the next school holidays in January to do it all over again! But for now I’ll leave you with this bit of advice…if you’re ever in Sydney, spend a Saturday night at the Opera Bar. It’s freakin’ awesome!
