Well hello,
I know. It’s been a while. But I’m going to be honest… I’m not going to apologise. That’s not what this blog’s for. This is a travelling blog and, well, I haven’t really been travelling this past year. I’ve been focusing on some other things, so the blog’s kind of taken a bit of a backseat. I wasn’t really feeling inspired by it and didn’t have much to say for a while. And I’m ok with that.

But now I’m back. After a long (almost) year of being at home in London, re-entering education (I’m now a fully qualified Early Years Teacher) and not going anywhere other than my lovely Christmas family holiday to Mauritius, I’m finally about to go out and explore the world again! And to say I’m excited is an understatement.
I’m currently back working at Summer Camp in the USA (and yes, I have been blogging over at Summer Camp Secrets), and as the summer begins to draw to a close, I’m starting to plan my next moves.

Which brings me to here.
The plans so far are very loose, but I’m just excited to be looking up flights, reading blogs and getting ideas for where to go and what to see. Currently I’m thinking that at the end of September I’m going to be heading West and travelling from New York to Colorado, where I’ll rent a car and drive from Denver to Los Angeles, visiting places such as Zion National park, Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon en route.
Then from LA I’m going to be jumping on a place and flying South to Costa Rica where I’m going to be volunteering at this awesome surf hostel in Tamarindo called DreamSea, taking photos, making videos and blogging for them, while getting the chance to get back into surfing and enjoying the beach life for a while.

After that it’s all kinda of vague. I’d like to spend some time just travelling around Central America, visiting Nicaragua, Guatemala and maybe even Belize before I head back to the USA to see friends for Christmas and New Year, and maybe even do a bit of snowboarding, before finally heading home in January.
That’s the plan anyway. If you’ve got any tips on places to go in those areas, I’d love to hear them… I’m open to all suggestions!
