Last year I entered the most amazing competition to become one of STA’s World Traveller Interns, a job that involved travelling the world for 3 months over the summer and documenting the journey with blogs, photos and videos in order to tell others about the experience and make them want to travel too.
Unfortunately I didn’t win…but I was named as one of the two runners up, which in itself is something I am very proud of. I learnt so much throughout the process of the competition, not only about marketing and social media, but also about myself and my dreams. For me it really solidified what I want to do with my life – to be a full time wanderer and explorer, making films along the way, encouraging others to get out there and see the world.
