I’ve just spent all day combing through guide books and planned tour itineraries to come up with my own special plan for the 6-week jaunt around South East Asia I’m going on with my two friends Maritza and Rosa (yes, I recruited them from camp) come November, meaning I am no longer going on the Gap Adventures tour like I had originally planned – as Chris McCandless (aka Alexander Supertramp) said ‘happiness is only real when shared’, and who else to share my happiness with but two of my best friends!
Anyway, if you want to see the itinerary I’ve drawn up (subject to change), just click the link below…any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated. And, yes, I know it looks hectic and it’s going to be a jam-packed whirlwind tour, but I want to see and do as much as I possibly can.
schedule sounds incredible! very jealous! you not taking in Indonesia at all?- pretty busy as it is i guess!! X
nope, no indonesia this time…i thought i’d save some of the world for next year!
Looks good, but perhaps I’d suggest that you don’t stick too closely to this itinerary. I guess you’ll always miss out on some stuff (there’s never enough time to explore all of SEA), so I always figured it’s better to spend some time exploring areas properly instead of going everywhere for a tiny period of time and not spending enough time to soak up the atmosphere and culture!
yeah it’s just a rough guide at the moment really of places i would like to go…but i’m sure it’ll all change once we arrive!
No visits to India ?
not this time unfortunately…saving it for my next trip!
