Right now I’m currently flying halfway across the world to spend Christmas in Mauritius with my family, whom I haven’t seen for 7 months (eeeeek, very exciting), so while I’m in the air, I thought I’d give you a peek into one of the best moments that happened to me in my last week in Sydney in 2013. On Monday it was my friend Tash’s birthday, so we headed to Sydney Aquarium for an afternoon making friends with all the sea creatures, and oh golly, make friends we did. I was just casually perusing all the different fish tanks when I came across this freaky fella, possibly the biggest octopus I have ever seen. He was pretty awesome, so I figured he deserved the photo of the week spot today. He stared at me and I stared right back, our eyes meeting through the glass that protected me from potentially getting suckered to death. I think I’ll call him Fred.
