Our numbers have dwindled. People have left for the UK and beyond one by one, leaving just a few of us in NYC. And today it was time for some more goodbyes, so we headed to the iconic steps at Times Square for a few more moments of fun and laughter.
Okay so let’s start with the fact that this isn’t actually a hotel. It’s a motel, in the middle of nowhere. Then let’s move onto the fact that when we arrived, they’d given away our TWO reserved rooms (each with 2 double beds in – there were 5 of us). So yeah. Not a great … More Hotel Review – Capri Lynbrook Hotel Inn
So camp is over. The last 67 days (yes I counted) have been some of the best, the hardest, the most fun, the most stressful, the most awesome days ever, and I was so sad to get on that bus and watch Sloane disappear into the distance. But before I tell you what I’m doing … More Post-Camp Adventures
On my last day off, I went to NYC with my friend Jack to introduce him to Bear Grylls, who was there on business. Just before I reached the park I saw the most beautiful Apple Store I’ve ever visited (in case you hadn’t already noticed, I’m a huge Apple fan). All shiny and made … More Photo Of The Week: Fifth Avenue Apple Store, NYC
Towards the end of my time in New York, I thought I’d better take a trip up the Empire State Building, just to see what all the fuss is about. And boy was I in for a shock…it was like nothing I’d ever seen before. I got up to the top (well, not the very … More Photo Of The Week: Empire State Building, NYC
