I Really Want To Do This

I’ve been doing a bit more research for my round the world trip next year, and as I’m unsure of my friends’ exact plans, I’ve been looking at perhaps doing a group tour in South East Asia with Gap Adventures, just so I have something planned for definite, and won’t arrive completely alone.

In the summer I went to the Greek island of Samos, and stayed in the beautiful town of Pythagorio, right on the waterfront. By day this place is quiet and relaxed, but by night it comes alive, with endless bars along the harbour all packed to the brim with locals and holiday makers.

Itchy Feet

Oh man I’m craving some travel escapades right now, I mean seriously, I can’t sit still and I’m this close to packing a bag, grabbing my sleeping bag, tent and of course passport (for those just-in-case, you-never-know-what-could-happen moments) and jumping into my car for an impromptu road trip. For Christmas I went to Mauritius with my (very extended) family…that is, my dad, my elder sister, my two younger half-sisters, my ex-stepmum, her new boyfriend, and their two-year-old (whom I consider my sister). See, I told you it was complicated.
